PEK Pottenbak is the playground of Antwerp ceramist Caroline Coenen. From her favourite red clay – ‘oerklei’ as she calls it – she hand-builds vases, tableware and even sinks. Her designs are functional, timeless and pure. The shapes and glazes are inspired by ancient designs just as much as by happy accidents.
Her soap dishes are hand-built, which allows for a tactile quality and small imperfections that make each one unique. It stands on four little feet and has three drip holes so your dish doesn’t become a swimming pool. Its size fits most standard soap blocks. They’ll match wonderfully with our fragrant Orris soaps.
