PEK Pottenbak is the playground of Antwerp ceramist Caroline Coenen. From her favourite red clay she composes mainly vases and tableware. Her designs are functional, timeless and pure. The shapes and glazes are inspired by ancient designs just as much as by happy accidents.
Caroline’s soap dishes are hand-built, which allows for a tactile quality and small imperfections that make each one unique. Our current editions are made of a grainy pinkish red clay with a transparent or creamy glaze. The dish stands on two rectangular strips and has three drip holes. Its size fits most standard soap blocks.
