Fleur De Roeck exhibition, October 2020.
Antwerp-based artist Fleur De Roeck’s bold traces and colourful shapes don’t need an introduction. They’re sensorial whirlwinds that seduce at first sight. We paid a visit to her studio and were easily convinced to let her sprinkle our shop with some of her magic. Fleur dressed our window with quirky creatures made out of scrap materials and exhibited some of her larger paintings and ink drawings too. Floral motives, primitive patterns and even a wooden crocodile cheered up passers-by in a gloomy time of COVID confinement.
