Bernarde art exhibition, October 2022

Bernarde is the artist name of Bernadette Zdrazil, a multidisciplinary artist residing in Antwerp. Her art refuses to be boxed and playfully nestles in and interacts with daily life. For her exhibition at Wilder, Bernarde picked up her recent fascination for the spirit animals and archetypal symbols of her yoga practice. She created an installation of new ceramics and paintings that explored the symbolic power of flowers and animals and the intuitive attraction we feel towards them. One of her research sketches, a pink rose in watercolour, became the fifth limited edition poster in our Wilder Affiche series.
