A Visit To Barbara Hepworth's Home

Last Summer, we paid a visit to Barbara Hepworth's garden and studio in St Ives. A small hidden gem, built by a grande dame, that leaves a lasting impression.

It's a joy to experience the sculptor's trademark organic shapes in their original setting. Surrounded by the subtropical plants that contribute to the area's singular atmosphere, and accompanied by the seagulls circling above, they elegantly endure the relentless Cornish wind. Hepworth's tools and coats seemed to be waiting for another session in her workshop.
