Sofia Hermens Fernandez, window + pop-up, February 2023

Fashion student Sofia Hermens Fernandez approached us to make paper flowers for her Bachelor graduation show at the Antwerp Fashion Academy. They would adorn ear cuffs made by Anca Barjovanu as part of her collection ‘Painters of the light’, an unabashedly dreamy collage of a.o. draperies, knitted pieces, leather butterflies and floral embroidery.

At the start of a lighter season, we showed fragments of Sofia’s collection and the collaboration we did in our window. Handmade garments and paper flowers were sold at the pop-up night.
