In this low-key evening workshop, we will build up a pretty coaster with raffia and repurposed fabric. We love to pair ours with a vase or a kenzan flower piece, but you can use it on your dinner table too.
This humble coaster will introduce you to the wonderful world of coiling, an accessible and versatile technique used in various cultures to create baskets but also beehives, slippers and more. We will show you how to achieve a few different shapes and effects, and how to turn your coaster into a basket if you like.
